> K700i frames

i have a firmware of R2L and i have 21 different frames.. and i don't know how many was there before coz i didn't used it before anyways
is it really that important? having more frames?

If you flash the phone, then the software is updated, but missing files wont be reinstalled. If you get a format with reinstalled software, then all the files is reinstalled to your phone.
Since you have missing files, you need a full reinstall to get the frames. Next update will probably not reinstall the frames for you unless you do a full reinstall.
It takes a little longer to reinstall the software than to update it (an hour or so).

hi. thanks for the reply. i think the missing frames is not that of an issue but i think if key files in the R2L version is missing then that should be of concern. i have been reading that some users who upgraded their K700i with R2L don't only complain of missing frames but also their phones hang or restart automatically. anyway i'm hoping that i'm only missing some frames and not key files that the phone requires to work normally. so far i haven't encountered any auto restarting or hang issues.

eeh, my k700 reboots when i enter the frames menu.. i have never seen them :/ can this be fixed in r2l u think?

In my K700i, in the phoneMenu I'st two icons Occasionally missing or disappears (i noticed this problem i my common use) when i try to navigate the icon to that position then it gets displayed or appears back when i move back the cursor to some other menu it disappers back . After some time the phone gets switched off automatically. Or else if i try to do some operation it restarts automatically. when i tried to contact the service center in chennai they updated my firmware with R2AA & finally they swapped the instrument twice but still the Persist , Finally i received an replacement of new handset from them. I was the new SE K700i for the past couple of week, But even with the new one i faced the same icon missing problem once. Whats wrong is it a common issue with K700i.
