I believe It says in the manual that it may take up to thirty minutes for a phone to show activity when plugged in if battery has run down completely. I also believe it is not necessary to only charge an almost dead battery only. I charge mine every night and i have no batt problems. Hope this helps. :-) This message was posted from a T610

@Frubin, you have R4C fw, the latest is R6C, but IMHO kepp it for a while as R6C is a bit unestable, I would recomend to wait for the next fw release

Ok. Through i do noticed that the battery seem to have a quicker charge to reach its full capacity when the handset is switched on.

I finding my phone seems to be sluggish in some things and again it has frozen this time when i was taken photos with the camera, so i went to a local SE service center to check out the problem. They said it may be an issue with the firmware and they can upgrade it to the latest version for free as my handset is still in warranty. Hopefully this will sort out any problems regardinmg the handset.

My T610 now been updated with the new R6C Software and i find it seems to be responding much better and less sluggish when using the functions. I've been told it also meant to improve on the battery performance as well.

As a newbie on software i am curious on how do you "update" the software on T610's? Is it means of flashing the phone with special equipment and software?

Some enlighten me with the procedure!

Thanks!
