SX1 only has 4Mb memory usable and not 24Mb (as rumoured way before SX1 was released). think u r way outdated.
btw 6600 has more software compatibilty than SX1. due to way in which sx1 handles display, quite a lot 3650/7650/6600 software cannot run on sx1.
one such example is the software that provide unlimited video recording with sound which works on 6600 but not SX1.

Don't mistake the 6600 as having stereo MP3 support when you download an mp3 application because it doesn't. I used to have one and the sound quality is shit in mono with the headphones. My 6230 craps all over the mp3 capabilites of the 6600. So in this instance as far as MP3 support goes the sx1 wins hands down!

also note that the SX1 uses Series 60 1.0 where as the 6600 uses Series 60 2.0 user interface, which in my personal opinion is much better.
