> K700i - MP3's for ringtones?
Bookmark topic
Thanks for all the responses!
Really annoyed about Voda restrictions - just renewed my bleedin' contract with them to...................
I would be willing to "cut up" MP3's for people if they want to use them and e-mail the finished article if them want....just be reasonable about timeframes etc.
If I got my phone "unlocked" so to speak, would that open up the functionality?

Hey folks.
Just spoke with SE, who informed me that one of their service centres would be more than willing to flash my phone to get rid of the voda branding. They have assured me that this will allow me to get the MP3's on as ringtones

Oops....forgot to enter something first!!
Just wondering if any of you guys can point me in the direction of a "Normal" ringtone for my K700i. It's just that my boss don't appreciate lairy tunes going off at work, so a standard phone ring would be great.
Any ideas?
Cheers

Just looking for a "ring ring"? No idea! Most riongtone manufacturers target kids, so trhey are all jazzy tunes. I cant see many "wasting time" on a normal phone sound, as it would very rarely sell.

@shafty
k-700.com have a load of ringtones to download, including some basic ones, that will work on all including voda.
MP3s have 'tags' which include a lot of info about the file. These tags are used by vodafone to identify a legit (ie payed for) MP3, so even downloading files from someone else's website or by email won't make them work on vodafone.

Here's the 'Old Phone' midi file from my old T610. Sounds pretty good on the K700i. I use it for when around people who hate to hear the Ulysses 31 theme tune everytime i get a call

Enjoy
