hmmm. I think the problems some of us have prove that there is an problem with this release and some pc-configurations (os/hardware).
I will try to do an upgrade today and I'll report how it went.

well, I revomed it all. installed 2.4.1 (worked like an charm) and then upgraded to 3.0.0... and nothing worked.
So I'll just stick with 2.4.1.
As far as I can see 3.0 dont have any new features thet I wanted:
* Autosync the whole time without need to manually sync. (Like in activesync)
* A possibility to skip the outlook "confirm access" and the silly "sync completed".. a silent sync in other words.
2.4.1 works just fine and does for me everything that 3.0 would do, so im going to wait for next version until I try again.

There are other threads dealing with PC suite synch problems, e.g.
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=68053 but no solutions as yet...

You can set it to sync everytime its connected, which I do, and combine that with a program called "Click Yes" the sync is almost silent, except the OK prompt.
I hear you, but this is an ok way around it.
Unfortunately you can't blame SE for the Outlook access button, that's an MS "feature".
