Well, if the phone was from CPW and you took out their insurance, you will be covered... i recall the sales girl telling me implicitely that if the phone fell down the toilet, as coincidentally she said many do, then just take it back to them, but tell them what happened to it before they touch it - thats only decent !
It never ceases to amaze me the number of phones which actually make it to the toilet... times were when one would take the newspaper, primarily to read, but also as a safety measure to be used in the absence of any other paper...
I also wonder how it could actually fall down the toilet... although Ifear that woudl be too much information for my tender stomach to behold, and something which would potentially damage the general public for the foreseeable future... so keep it to yourself... !
As for allowing others to touch my P900, well I must agree with the poster who refuses to let others even so much as touch it... I made the very mistake of allowing someone to "fondle" my phone in the early days, but due to placing of buttons all around it, i had everything from the internet to the camera to God only knows whatever else making attempts to open at roughly the same time... and when people realise they have pressed a button they shouldn't have, they have a tendancy of dropping it in case it explodes or something equally terrible...
So, others must look with their eyes, not with their hands... !
