Well that changes things somewhat. I would advise that you try another CPW and plead with them to perform the update in a day, they might accomodate you if you are suitably nice to them. Another option would be to submit your mobile and have someone post it to you in South Africa once it had been returned by the CPW.

If you haven't noticed a problem, what, precisely, do you hope to fix? The CPW near Baker Street will upgrade in a couple of hours he you're nice to them and the workshop isn't inundated. This message was posted from a T68i

i guess i'll just look out for the FW in SA, but can one of you tell me, what are the major bugs in the R2A FW?

As I say, the only one I've come across is the occasonal 'freezing' for a second or two when typing a text, in the menus, or using the keypad. Some say that battery performace in improved with the new firmware also. Is you phone a branded one or not? It seems the branded phones have more bugs while running R2A.

I'd say you'd be fine. I've had no real problems with my k7, and if you've had yours for a little while and not noticed anything, I'd say you've got nothing to worry about

No problem! You could always access us either from your phone, or go to an internet cafe every once in a while!

From the way you were talking, one might think your phone is unusable, and yet you dont even notice one bug?

Stop moaning!

P.S. Hope you have a safe flight to South Africa.
