Yep, i have the same problem. Have had my k700 for two weeks and with the latest firmware.
So i'm not sure whether the number beneath the contact is correct, in case i need to give it to someone else. To be sure i have to go to "edit before call" and it will show the correct number.

The "crazy" devices you are referring to are the k700s.
Maybe you haven't had a problem yet, but my thoughts are you will.
