in the early p800 days there was actually a spait of people with the same error, all after installing irremote. Not sure of the connection, but obviously installing irremote could have also filled yer internal drive.

I remember whilst I was travelling I was stood under the Hollywood sign, I took a pic of it which was the last straw and it came up with the "Internal memory corrupt, about to format" message etc, which gutted me as I was going to be away for 12m and had just got it how i wanted it I did have a proper digicam too....

Btw - the SE webpage lists the service centres - go to Support and look at the tabs - its slightly hidden but it is there.

yeah that also happened to me... you just have to take it to your se service point so that they reflash it, nothing serious but it's gonna take an hour from you....

Consider the plus point. You practically get a new phone and you can download your app's all over again.

Yes but you are forgetting one little thing...
If any of the apps have been purchased you might need to pay for them once more to get them
I had a coupple of apps like that and was furious about the whole thing.

You people are just simply great, i really dont know wot 2 say but thank you. And one of you said it might have been the irremote, yes, it is true, because that was the last thing i downloaded before the fone went bad. After download was complete i was told to restart the fone, which i did and it was at that time i first discovered i had the problem. Now, are you 100% positive that the fone needs re-flashing? i know thats a stupid question, seeing as you are all p800 experts, but i just want to be sure, because during that exact day my fone went bad, i took it to a fone specialist near my home, and it was them that first told me that the fone needed reflashing, they said i can leave the fone with them and i did. when i came to collect it later in that same evening, they told me it was beyond re-pair, and i was so gutted. maybe, those people don't even do re-flashing....oh well! thanks for your support, but i still need more help!! TO REFLASH OR NOT TO REFLASH, THAT IS THE QUESTION.
