I remember my P900 doing a similar act when you tried to type just after a smiley without a space. eg

R2A041 FW here and no crash following your instructions, so it must of been introduced in newer FWs

I got the exact same problem - it crashes everytime i want to use the 1 1 3 spelling of ":-D" - so i can't have ":-D" in My Words:(
But a strange thing, is that this only happens when the phone is setup to my native language Danish - if i select English/Norwegian/Swedish/Suomi, then everything works perfect:/
I'm also using R2L...

my guess is, that the combination u used is unfortunately for reboot - haven't tried it on mine but i would imagine it would do the same for any 700 on any f/ware

When I still have my K700i back then, I only experience the 'rebooting/restarting of the fone when I am about to lose energy on my batt, say, 1 or 2 bars left (red on) . . . firmware upgrade cannot truly solve the bug problems most of the time !
