I live in Bermuda and I am trying to use Smartner Duality to manage my corporate email on a Microsoft Exchange Server but with no success. I am using a P900. I downloaded the trial version and proceeded to install the software on my PC and when I get to the stage of installing the client software to my P900 all is well, then I go and open the program on my P900 to finish installing the software as instructed, so under settings I choose my GPRS service and close that window at which time Duality says "creating the connection". Well after a few moments I get a fatal error saying "connection could not be made". So I figure maybe my GPRS service is down so I open up Opera and surf the web... GPRS is fine. So I don't know what else to do. The installation of Duality is dependant on the "creating the connection" phase. Any ideas?

Hey guys can we focus these postings on the Blackberry clients, id really like to get this working.

If anybody has the blackberry client for the P910 or P900 let us know so we can evaluate it for when it is released.

@newbiep910idude

mate, i think the point is that there are no P910i's shipping with the client at the moment, so I don't think anyone's going to know much that can help.

Anyway, support for RIM on the P910i will probably be network-dependent, so you could be looking at a long wait.

@jdfurbert: If there is no RIM client authorization, then of course you will not be able to connect.

He's not using a RIM client - Smartner are a RIM rival that also do a "push" email solution, that doesn't require a pre-installed mobile client.

The Whole Blackberry/Smartner thing appears to be a hot topic.

I wonder if someone can help me (and the guy from Bermuda) I have installed the Smartner trial version to see how it works, but I am having exactly the same problem as the guy from Bermuda - my P910 fails to extablish a connection and I can seem to resolve it - does anyone know how to get this fixed??

Check with the SmartnerDuality WebSite carefully for the area specific compatability. Even though I was able to downlaod the s/w successfully but at some stage while trying to get the software from their website there was a mention that this service is not supported in the US so I have not even tried to bother with it.
