@condor88 - Batteries sometimes performs magics you know . .. Just go for the 4 hours, but feel the fone and the charger if it's heating when you have reached the 3rd hour - OK ? Good luck !

@govigov - Yes! Mate I even go the extra mile, nope, only an hour or two when charging my fones. Though I make sure that it's fully drained before making it full again . . .

@govigov thats the most worse what u do. These batts are enough unstable and no mem effect. It could happen the batt doesnt even turns on after it. Saw and told by my service friend several times.

Modern batteries doesnīt really care that much how and when theyīre charged, however it does take a few charge/discharge cycles for it to reach full capacity. I charge mostly overnight, and have never ever experienced or even heard of "overcharging". When I got my R250s and put it in desktop charger it got to well above body temperature while charging but so what? I really donīt think (Sony)Ericsson would risk a lot of returned phones, damaged from charging.
The whole battery issue is going hysterical i think, i have old phones with old but previously unused batteries and newer phones with new batteries and I donīt detect any difference what so ever, so chill, charge your phone at will and live happily ever after!
Btw, donīt you find it strange that all P9** doesnīt fry when many of them live half their lives in sync/charge stands?

The phone guesses the charge in the battery by the voltage, this is very inaccurate. thats why when your phone says 'low battery', if you switch it off then on again the battery meter goes back to half full. What i always do with a new battery is charge it (with the phone switched off) when it says it's fully charged unplug the charger for a minute or 2, plug it back in, you will see that it was.nt really charged and it starts charging again. Do this until its full
