The difference is EVERYTHING has been wiped not just the settings and stuff.

Ok so put it this way,
What is left by the normal reset but removed by the secret one?
I know on a P-Series the disc gets lots of files left by apps and the likes so they need the proper format but being just a phone I can't imagine the S700, K700 etc suffer this.

Under the settings menu, i have two options, 1. Reset settings, 2. Master reset. There is no reset option in the service menu. You know what phone i am using. ;-) This message was posted from a T230
