My P910 turned up yesterday, ad I am pretty glad I upgraded. If you are on Vodafone and that is what they quoted you for an upgrade then tell them at CPW O2 are doing it for £169 on similar contract, they usually say they will match it on an 18mth contract and off you go.

£169 for the upgrade, sold P800 to mate for £100, therefore £70 for P910i.

My 256mb pro duo is winging its way to me right now, £58 with free delivery from eBuyer.

P.S. it was definately worth the upgrade, they are both the same size but the P910 make better use, and feels far more substantial + the screen is absolutely amazing, 500% better than p800, smartmovie plays vids smoother and better quality, plenty of free apps (like they arnt all free anyway) and a nifty like gun holster thingy (although I used to keep my p800 in its wallet and found it easier to carry than this in its holster. I think I shall use the holster to hold mars bars)

Also dont forget things like video camera, a much clearer screen, better stylus, and a much improved keypad, and better pre-installed software.

Damn you all, making me feel inferior... *sniff* I'm only just getting my p800 today, and you already took most of the magic out of it for me....

JK.

Well, even though it IS true that I am getting my p800 today, I still think it's worth the upgrade to the p910. Go for it mate, and don't look back.

A little tip to selling on Ebay, stress that it is BOXED and COMPLETE and then if you have any duos you want to sell, stress they are EXTRA. Doing this will get you the best price. Or it's what i would pay more for anyways. Also, make sure you say it's unlocked and undamaged.

Edit: Also, It helps to know a little html, 'cause that's where you can put emphasis on words by differing in color and size. Get someone you know do do the html coding if you don't know how. Actually, if you really wanted, you could send be the ad and some instructions of what you want, and I'll do it for you. BUT ONLY SNO-MUNKI.

Nick, you shouldnt feel inferior about your p800, it may not be as good as the p9x0 but it is far superior to any other phone on the market, from a certain point of view. Most new phones have a better camera and better screen (if smaller) but the p800 has functions coming out of its arse, you can do most things people hadnt even considered wanting to do. Wave that in their faces

Hi,

currently have the P800 and for £200 i can upgrade to the P800.

Now that is a LOT of money for pretty much identical phone in a different 'shell' which to me is what it comes down to...

So what else am i paying for... i do love the P800 so would love the P910 i'm sure of that....

any bad points you there might be ?

Oh and is the screen identical in size, as i bought a few of those martin field screen protectors, is it the same size ?

thanks

after all above enlightening replies all i can say is

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE upgrade :grin::grin::grin:

I'm tired of people posting topics like "convince me to upgrade to this, convice me that." Well, convince yourself! Do your own homework. There are plenty of links here on Esato about the phones and their differences...take the time to read them and you'll be more knowledgeable.

What do you want? Someone to butter you up and kiss your ass. It all comes down to you and your money. What makes you happy.

"Convince me to buy the K700, convince me why I shouldn't get the S700, blah, blah, blah. I'm bored with my K700, please help me decide."

-Man, get real!

@Genghis

You could have got a 512MB SanDisk of ebay for what you paid for a 256MB.

The one called Blueproton (I think) is reputable & one of cheapest. ~£55 inc P&P

@magicman

Well its good that all Esato members don't have your helpfull cheery manner as our site would never have grown to what it is today.

Advice from other users always forms part of my buying decisions in addition to all the technical stuff.

Suppose you can flame me now

A user with 7 posts is telling you all how to reply on here? I have more than double your posts and I wouldn't dare

P.S. I recently upgraded from the P800 to the P910i and now I don't feel like I am using a girls phone J/K (ducks and runs for cover)

i'm definately going to go for it, going to put my P800 up for sell fairly soon and then get my P910

and totally forgot about the price i might get my P800 so technically its closer to £100 which is VERY good considering my monthly phone bill is never above £15
