I personally think that the P800 design is gorgeous. There aren't many PDAs out there that are curvetious.
Yes, the keypad is removable, and regarding after removing the keypad, I believe that
will use something that works like in older Sony phones where there's a button on the side of the mobile phone which you can push to keylock.
I imagine that we will see something similar on the P800, a button on the side to "lock" screen and then the same button to unlock when the keypad is not there.

just wait and see when the phone comes out. the p800 is clearly better better than the 7650. the design is great but the features suck, no use to me. it's what inside that counts like in a car, the car looks cool but with a whimpy engine. i'd rather have an ugly car but with a kick assh leave your opponents in the dust engine.

well... i just got back from CommunnicAsia... Personally b4 i go there... i have doubts on the design of P800... thought that it wil be ugly and fat... but when i was there... i saw the real thing and demo... i was very very impress by it... after adding the sony memory stick slot ( guess where they add the slot? at the place where u put the pda "pen" SMART.. but have to remove pen first) the phone can now play mpeg and mp3... and the mp3 can be use as a ring tone... and in actual fact the design of the phone look quite cool and not as heavy... i think this is like T68i... b4 it was released very one say it sucks... but after seeing the actual thing u will LOVE it ... so this is my point of view on P800... pls feel free to commend on wat i have wrote above

ofcourse everyone has his own taste of design, ... my opnion good phone, nice futures.. i'm 100% sure, that if it's wanst a pda the looks where very different, .. but there is so many technic in it!

I totally agree. The design sux, and I would feel ashame walking around with that phone.
1. The colors are ugly
2. It's to clumpy and stocky
3. The flipcover where the keyboard is is ugly, it looks cheap and loose.

I'm sure it will look better in real life, but I think a multi media card would've been better than the memory stick duo, I know that it is the sony standard and can be used with any MS device with an adapter, but the MMC is a wider used platform you could use it with so much more, maybe the dou could be used in a MMC device anybody know, it's a very similar size.
