It would be nice with a phone who has sapphire crystal on their
screen.
I got sapphire crystal on my clock, prefectly clear and I can take a
screwdriver and try to scratch it and it won't leave a mark.
I have to say that this is one of the conserns I have for S700 also
since they made the display face out instead of in as z600.

The screen is scratchproof in the sense that you can have the phone in your pocket among with your keys without scratching the display. Verified this from a developer at SE.

s700 screen made of scratchproof material like sapphire crystal on watch? if that is true then the screen will be very durable... could that be the reason y s700 is so expensive?

bengalboy puts a knife to s700 display
Interresting..if this is true (I have no reason not to belive it)
it should resist scratches from keys w/o problems.

Bengal boy starts to scratch the screen. Knife goes through and comes out of camera from other side.
