Also using EX71's but with OggPlay and I never have any problem with ogg or wma encoded at 64kbps, they sound same as 128kbps mp3's to me.
I have even encoded my oggs at 45kbps & they are OK for me for portable use. Have over 325 tracks on my 512MB DUO PRO encoded at 45kbps. mp3's & even wma files encoded this low sound crap compared to ogg. Ogg is excellent at low bit rates.
I use WMP10 to organise all my music making use of the Rating system then I create an AuoPlaylist of my 5 & 4 Star tracks sorted on Rating & play count & limited to 325 tracks. I then save the Playlist as an m3u playlist and use dB Converter to use the playlist to convert them all to 45kbps ogg (just leave it running as it takes a while with 300+ tracks!)
OggPlay then auto creates the Artist,Album,Genres organisation and I create custom playlists by moving tracks to nameded folders (which are also selectable within OggPlay).
P910i with OggPlay with 512/1GB DUO is excellent as a music player especially setting up the internet button for OggPlay in FC mode.

512Mb Duo pro (£55) and the standard headphones.
I don't need a lifes worth of music with me every day.
Why not try this and use your car radio:

You will need an adaptor as well for it to work

I got an audio headset adapter from PC-mobile - works great and let me use any headphones. I ordered it from Hong Kong on Thursday and it was delivered to Sweden on Monday
