Its because if did make the perfect phone they'd not be able to sell anyother phone they made thus losing money.

Tech is always moving forward so one month you "could" have the "perfect phone" the next month some new tech comes along making the "perfect phone" not so "perfect"

Technology is always advancing and new stuff is being added to phones all the time ie: edge, video calling etc that still in the early stages.
Phones like S700i should be a evolution of the K700i. But why is it not? Some good features of previous SE phones are taken away? Why?

SE and any other maker has to make a selection of what they put in a phone at what price etcetera. A memory slot might have made the K700 bigger and more expensive and therefore altogether not attractive enough to seduce enough customers to make it profitable.
I do not think any maker would deliberatley take options out of the phone to introduce them a ytear later. I think they might postpone introducing it because the market is not ready for it yet. That is a given in product development of any kind of product.
Every phone paves the way for the next one.

I definitely do not think that adding a memory slot in the K700 would have made much difference in the price. And what has the S700 got? 262k screen, memory expansion, and different looks. And they are charging more than double (in india) for these 'upgradations'.
