Nice... That would be VERY cool...
@ The o2 pay-monthly guy: No we are talking PAYG here, but it may also be the case with pay monthly... For more info, check out the "Free GPRS on o2 PAYG" Topic in the p800/900/910 forum.

Let us know if anything works...

Wow. Now this is REALLY messed up (I'm DEFINITELY not complaining)!!! It seems that my credit goes UP when receiving calls, but when I make them it goes down. However, shortly after going down, the credit rises to about 1 pound above what it was. I love o2!!! I have now got more credit than I topped up!!!

I've received about £6 of "free" credit in the last few days!
I can't get rid of it! Every time it goes down it goes up more!
AND its FREE calls on O2 PAYG all day today to any UK network!!!

i think o2 decided to give free calls today (24/10/2004) to any UK network so that maybe they can sort out their charging errors they have been having recently.so may be from tomorrow it might be back to normal. wot you guys think???

yeah its free calls nick but the o2 network has been mashed up for most of the day.I tried calling people and it just doesn't connect.p900 asks if I want to retry or sumtimes the beep (when u make a call) comes and then the phone stops dialing. so really its free calls but u cant access the network so i guess theres no point. even some of my texts take two or three attempts to send and then finally go through.

I've managed to make only 3 calls today & in the process I had to make a total of 114 attemps!!!
That's 111 failed!!!! and I'm not exaggerating, I just counted them in my call list!

Yeah, i know what you mean. i only tried 1 call before i realised it was messed up. I tried sending my sms at least 6 times before they went through. And Gprs was playing up a bit too... I just hope they dont suddenly fix everything... free gprs and negative call costs are what im all about!!

this post makes me wish i had stayed on pay as you go! i never got free credit out of o2!!! and in the 12 months i have had my contract with them they have messed up my bill twice, both times overcharging me and messing up my free allowances! they refund you in the end but only after you call up their premium rate help line - which they dont refund you for!!! cant say i have been impressed with o2 customer service!
