I tried to use Opera twice to access home banking using my operator's WAP access, but it failed miserably after login with a bad format XML error
That same WAP page works perfectly with the internal browser, so I guess I have to use the two depending on what I need to do.
Seems like Opera is a bit behind in XML compatibility.
Opera and the internal browser both work without GPRS.
GPRS in only a fastest way to communicate!
If you can't access internet using WAP is (probably) because your phone it's not well configurated.
I have the following Internet accounts:
- Internet GPRS
- MMS GPRS
- WAP GPRS
- WAP GSM
Atention: To browse with Opera with the GSM account, I had to insert a proxy in Opera.
