> What's uk jail like?

@nature;unfortunately,I've got between 7 and 10 previous convictions.these are s47abh(com assault),s20 gbh because someone snatched a chain from my neck,witness intimidation,3 or 4 public orders,and 2 or 3 criminal damages,along with a breach of community service order.it's all been drink related sort of anger/vendetta,or self defence.i'm not proud of my charges,but i'm currently under probation supervision,and attending an alcohol programme.it's all silly drink related crime!

@meth...liked your posts mate.not feeling quite near as down as i was.anyway,further to this..my solicitor suggested go not guilty,and suggested to the bench,that a pretrial review based on wreckless behaviour was to be applied for!should they allow the request,i've been told to plea guilty to wreckless assault.i just cannot get to grips, with the substantial brutality the local police used on me!

You didn't assault the officer! You were tipsy, the officer lunged at you (and there's plenty of evidence of their excessive behaviour), you stumbled and put your hand up to steady yourself. It must have been at that point you inadvertantly brushed the officer's cheek.

@meths...you're a funny guy mate,lol.@absinth..I've basicaly said,I was heavily intoxicated on alcohol,and therefore only remember attempting to redirect the pc's baton away from my face,because i felt intimidated by his actions.i'm keeping my fingers crossed,and hoping that the photos and 1min 3gp clip,and 2 or 3 grainy standard photos will suffice as evidence!but guys your feedback is keeping my spirits high.cheers lads.
