@grimslade if u usually use headset, it must be constantly on. Thatswhy i dont get why no auto bt, another weird decision of se not to set it.

My bluetooth is always on, but not in discoverable mode; after you've paired it with your headset (an HBH-600 in my case), it no longer needs to be "discoverable" for your headset to find the phone. There is a way to change between "basic" and "automatic" bluetooth mode in the t610 and t630 (note: It needs to be in "basic" to record voice commands via the headset, as I recently discovered...).
I don't know if that's the same thing as what was available on the t68, but I do know that the "headset" logo only shows up on my phone when I'm actually on a call; afterwards it reverts back to the little "B" thingy.

@boba - yes, but the headset isn't there all the time, only when I'm using the headset. And "visibility" is off. My original Q was, why are people leaving their phone in discoverable mode all the time?

@grim i get your point, but there is no auto as default choice what i missed in t6x0 series i used. Answering your orig question, the bt usage is individual, some like it in on mode
