Actually I have a coupla questions, nothing to do with hotmail, but am wondering whether some of you can help:

1) How do you send smileys via sms and email on P910?

2) Is it possible to write emails with your flip closed with T9?

@domestic_goddess

Are you really Nigella?!

Well, I can't find a way to write emails in flip closed at all, let alone using T9, but for smilies, you can just tap the icon on the screen in flip open mode, or enter them using punctuation marks e.g. colon, closed bracket for a smile, comme ca

TX dave - there's still much for me to explore on this phone. The manual I find is quite useless.

Re Nigella - let's just say I work wonders in the kitchen and else.

What did you write as User name? It should be your Hotmail address.

Cheers for that, I've set my mailbox to my hotmail address and it connects fine and I'm now checking and reading my email like a doddle!

One very odd thing however, I have just received an email from a company called "IzySoft" - it says I have registered for an online trial with them OR I "have created an eMail account definition, pointing at the IzyMail Online system and you have actively started to use the IzyMail Online services."

I hope they don't start charging me some ridiculous amount after the trial, but I can only think by setting up my phone its triggered some response from them - very strange!

Anyone else had this email after setup?

Dave

Thanks for the website, that's the one that came with my email, and after a bit of extra reading it all seems pretty legit and 'cheap' - $10.95 to use the hotmail address service for a year, not bad as Hotmail isnt available through anyone else!
