As this machine was not new, I can only presume the battery was charged as it should have been when it was new. I have no way of telling.
The battery seems to have stopped dropping at 49%. When I get home, I will put Sman on, thank you FraG, and see what happens.

If u use an extra batt, always keep it full charged to avoid bad performance later. Anyway, the best and most effective charging is in off mode, cos at on mode charging even the quality of reception effect batt. Thatswhy isnt suggested to make calls and charge batt in the same time.
