Yes, mate, but we're talking about the 910i, for which there are no updates available yet.
Remember how long it took for the first one to be released for the 900!

Yes to both. Topic is irrelevant (and a repeat of earlier discussions, I'm sure) and I am having that issue, though I don't use it much, and my P900 wasn't a whole lot better.
However, on my CSS-20 (Desk Speaker Stand) volume is fine, though obviously that has an inbuilt speaker. But it's an idea if you need it in the office/at home. And the new CSS-25 is an all-in-one speaker/charger/SyncStation - which I can't buy in the UK yet. Grrrr.....
But way off-topic

You clearly have difficulty reading the posts below in this thread, so allow me to assist:
YOU CAN'T UPDATE THE FIRMWARE IN AN ORANGE P910I USING THE SONYERICSSON UPDATE SERVICE, UNLESS YOU GET THE PHONE UNLOCKED AND FLASHED TO GENERIC FIRMWARE ELSEWHERE FIRST!
Clear enough?

dave_uk or anynone else
Does this apply to other locked P910's as well? I am on T-Mobile UK.
The funny thing is on my P800 which is also locked to T-Mobile I simply popped into Carphone Warehouse and had them update the firmware to the latest version. The only difference I noticed was that the T-Mobile wallpaper no longer appeard after the firmware update.
However, looking at both my phones now, I do get the impression that T-Mobile did not fiddle with the Firmware of the P800; they simply locked it to their netowrk. Whereas, it appears, on first site to me anyway, that perhpas they have introduced their own firmware on the P910; for example the internet button directs you to T-Mobile's services, the Home icon on the desktop directs you to a lot of T-Mobile stuff, and you can't uninstal any of the T-Mobile stuff through the Storage Wizard.
Any advice much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, it does work fine, but actually the point is that there is no firmware UPgrade for the Orange CDA. The version you have "upgraded" to is the same as the version you already had, which is the original version released on Orange.
