I went into an Orange shop and spent 40 mins comparing my P900 to the P910. After finishing I would upgrade even my P900 to the 910 for £100. I took the same picture on both phones and then beamed the picture over to my P900. I was suprised at how much better the P910 picture was. Better contrast and more detail. As the cameras are physically the same this might evened out by a firmware upgrade.

But even just the extra memory might tempt me. The qwerty keyboard was ok but I wouldn't see myself using it. (I tend to remove the flip anyway)

I'm on the same tariff as you (25quid on orange) and i got my upgrade in a months time, my plan was to get a p910 and in for a price about 100, so i guess the deal they offered you is ok. Also make sure you blag some free accessories to go with it and also get a price for a trade-in of your current phone should make it a bit cheaper again. This message was posted from a T610

I haven't upgraded to a P910 and I don't plan too either as I have a perfectly good P900. There just isn't enough difference between them to make the upgrade worthwhile in my opinion, but others disagree with me, as can be seen in the replies above.

I would consider upgrading to a P910 if I was using a P800 though, I think that the difference in features is great enough between the two to make it worth the money. £110 doesn't seem too much for an upgrade to a P910, but perhaps you might want to check whether or not it would be cheaper to just end your old contract and take out a new one; you might get a better deal this way.

I thought exactly the same as Scotsboy but at having the product in my hand the mental bar got removed. In many ways Scotsboy is right as there really isn't that much difference between them to justify changing as opposed to the P800, but each person has their own requirements. Even just seeing the new GUI in flip open mode got my hands itching!

Did you have to upgrade you price plan? If so then what to?

No, don't have to change my price plan, asked the guy if I was willing to change it could I get the phone any cheaper but he said it didn't make any difference.

Think I'll go ahead and upgrade. Most of the comments suggest that its worth it. Thanks.

PS - Does anyone know what good bluetooth headsets are available for the P910i ?

From a P800 to a P910 - without any doubt, do it!!

From P900 to a P910 - Needs some thinking about (but I did).

Orange sent me the P910i free the week they came out, and applied a £95 credit to my bill.

Mind you, my bill is quite big.

how big, may i ask ?

as mine is about £14 a month so had to pay £160 for my upgrade... still VERY cheap as they originally wanted £365 for thr upgrade...

@ original poster, call orange again saying carephonewarehouse offered the EXACT same offer but £20 cheaper, say if you don't match it then you will leave ... well that worked for me ( twice )

I have the £70 package which gives me 1000 any network anytime minutes and free voicemail. I make quite a few roaming calls (expensive) too. Orange send me new handsets quite often - so far I have one P800, three P900's and now one P910 too. They used to send me bluetooth headsets but this has stopped hence the credit on the bill.
