There does seem to be some sort of fault on when the phone files were first installed on your phone.
I'm on my 2nd K700i as my first one went crasy after a master reset.
the phone had the original firmware and was before the software update system was out. I had to reset my phone for some reason.
After resetting it, the phone started as normal, but then the animations stopped working, my folders were there but not visable. Files we also there but not visable.
After contacting my provider i was issued with a new phone, no hesitation. After asking if this was a problem, i was informed a few have had the same fault as other phones work fine?
