does anyone know how long the battery life last for k500i if it's abused the same way for the k700i (with R2L firmware)? if u r gonna ans.. can u pls state both the k500i and k700i values.. so i can get a sense of the ratio
i was soo determined to buy the k700i 2 days ago.. but when i heard that it's not R2L, i left the store.. did i make a mistake? they said they have one more left in the store.. hopefully, when they get more, they will have the phones with the newest firmware

K500i speaker is a bit louder than one in K700i.
It plays poliphonic tones better than K700i.
I don't say that K700i speaker volume is not loud.. It's very loud indeed, but K500i is just louder.

This is bcos of the fact that the speaker in the k700 is hidden behind the camera with just a narrow slit and the k500's one is placed a bit to the right with more opening to allow for better volume.

go for a k700i... clearer need not necessarily mean better better phone....

agree with govigov... go buy the K700i... the speaker is very good indeed though K500i has a bit better one then. Overall, K700i wins all hands down..
