Yes you can't download large data files (over 3kb) with Voda at the moment and I'm not sure when you will be able to. I've also tried the Ericsson gateway and that doesn't work either.

Your experience with Voda Customer Services is not uncommon! Heheh I don't even both talking to them anymore because they are useless! You would not belive the trouble I had over GPRS when it first came out!! Some times you may get lucky and get someone knows what they are talking about but that is becoming increasing rarer!

I can send pictures over email but only if they are below 3kb.

:edit: I've just emailed them over this issue so I will let you know the response I get (probably somewhere about 2003)

Even pics under/3kb wont send for me. They send up until the 1st kb, then it just hangs and eventually gives up. Can you post your settings please. GPRS/ whatever works for you.

I had the same problem, but I switched the "reliability" from Class 3 to Subscribed.

Connect=> Data Comm=> Data Accounts => GPRS Mail(or whatever you call your mailaccount)=> Edit=> Adv. settings => Quality of service => Reliability => "Subscribed"

Try that

Hmm... I use gprs with Comviq in Sweden and I've got like this; i can without a problem send emails with big files (just sent a 26 KB screensaver) from the phone, but I can't download files larger than 3 KB via wap...
When I spoke to their technical support they of course didn't have a clue about any file size limitations...
I will try to send an email to them to get a written response.
