It's already implemented, just look on your gmail for NEW FEATURES bar on top of the page, anyway it's impossible to make it work from wap, at least from my T610, Oulook is working great.

i think now every one gets pop access when they start a gmail account. i got pop when i create the account and log on to the mail box in the first time. you can activate it by going to the settings and clicking to pop....something tab.

Well? Anyone knows about a new wap site to get gmail? I think google should start a site like there current xhtml search page (www.google.com/xhtml) it works really great!
