@kooki - Yes! As I saw that with mobilereview.com's presentation with the K7 mate . . . but probabilities are very high that you'll damage your K7 more . . than having a successful modification made!

Not me, I don't believe the K700 was design for a slot purely because

wasn't going for that type of customer.
I must admit I've had mine now for over 3 months now and have yet never run out of memory.
I did used to watch episodes on my p900, but the screens too small on the K700 to do this.
If you did, I would recommend increasing your visits to the opticians

I've still got around 20 MB on my phone left after 146 pics, 67 sound files including 8 full length songs, 1 song video and 5 recorded clips, 18 themes and 41 games.
Watching videos on the cell is good only if i want to show off the video playback capabilities to my friends.

. That's why i still have the song video otherwise i prefer to watch movies on my PC.

agreed. I have around 20mb free to and could never watch a full movie on such a screen. I do have a couple of music videos though
I won't surprise me if a K7xx comes along in the new year with the desired memory slot

I think the memory is fine. I dont even think about the memory. I have an hour long comedy sketch (audio) on my phone. More memory would be good but then you will just have things on your phone that you will never touch because you forgot it was there.

Yeah . . . sometimes the video feature is just for show-off thing! What I store more are 'comical' ones being uploaded here at Esato.com . . . and vids captured on special occasions with my relatives, like deaths (my aunt died last July 27th, and with the help of the fone's cam, I was able to send an hour-by-hour images to my relatives abroad, just to keep the abreast and up-to-date with the situation of their ailing sister in Manila), wedding and birthdays!

@below24 - Yup! just like saying that if you want a fine picture capturer better get yourself a 5.0-8.0 digicam and not an SE S700 . . .

Having a full-length movie in the K700 would suck anyway because there's no way to skip/forward, so you would have to watch it from the beginning every time. The firmware in the K700 isn't designed for these things.
