No fight dude. I just think that our friend here does not have anything to worry about as long as he has the garantee and also SE for sure has done some product testing. I would assume that there is quite a big MTBF for the switch and there is nothing to worry about.

Well, i have a guarantee and I have a genuine P900 ... but the problem is I am in India!!!!!!!!!!!

There are loads of SE Rascals here in the service centers who would not even acknowledge the damage saying I might have hammered it or something like that. Its a very different story in India people...

there is another option.....
if you only use one of the sim cards for calling/texting then get a small cheap second hand phone like a nokia 8210, its small and light, wont take much room in your pocket and, more importantly, you can leave your p9's power button alone!

If problems are that bad in India with hi-tech devices, it seems that it would be better that SE not sell anymore in that country. I find it hard to believe that a real SE service point will not fix that phone expecially if there is no sorryd physical damage. This sound completely third world.

Yahoo!!!!!!

Finally I found how to reboot the P900 (which has dual SIM cards) *WITHOUT* pressing the on/off button!!!

Use Magic Launcher!! Works like a charm.
