Thanks guys for the help......
The phone cost £299 on upgrade, but I was given a discount of £100 so paid £200. As for the changes, the actual icons at the top like home, sms, camcorder e.t.c have been changed, T-mobile have also taken away the desktop icon and added a tzones shotcut. Gonna try the CPW flash thing. Will they charge me even though I didnt by the phone from them?

I would say v3 + p910...
lol sunj m8, i never mentioned i could get the v3 the p910, said v3 and p900

that combo is a bit steep for a student, though i could always go into my overdraft account
Really though, those pics probably have put me off the p910, though now that i'm back in london, i'll check both of them out in the shops. Thanks for everyones help

CPW will NOT charge you for flashing phone as they are an authorised Service Centre.
They may ask you why you want an update. Just give them spiel about this and that not functioning correctly.
By the way, got my P910i for just £100
Regarding flashing the phone, does it also alter the CDA number? Coz I was wondering wether that was hard wired into the ROM and even flashing won't remove it; in which case there may be a problem if you later try to use the online SE update service? Does anyone know?

I have just upgraded to the P910 on Tmobile. What are the benefits of flashing your phone?
Ps. Why would you want to de-brand your phone?

I think out of all of them T-mobile has the worst and most intrusive branding of all. I got mine directly from vodafone and apart from the startup and shutdown videos there is no physical scarring.

@T68iKING: oops...didnt quite read what you said properly as im sure you realised...my usual problem where i loose marks in exams and stuff "read the question properly!" say all my teachers. Anyways, my answer would still be the same I think, V3 + P900 - there isn't very much difference between P910 and P900 apart from the screen and the qwerty keyboard flip (which might be totally irrelevant if you use it with the flip off) - but yea the best thing is to take a look and try them out in the shops. I dont know about the V3, but I dont particularly like the menu's of the rest of the motorola's (V600, V500, E550 etc.) - im guessing thats because im most used to SE though.

Yeah sunj,
should be getting a p900 (£150 - unlocked) tomorrow and a v3 (£70 on upgrade) tomorrow (or Monday/tues, depending on delivery), total cost = £220 Good deal i would say
P.S i still havent seen how badly the v3 on t-mobile has been branded. Hope it doesnt have a fixed pink icon on the screen for t-zones - it bloody ruins the phone (on k700 at least)

@T68iKING - yea thats pretty gd!

From the pictures on T-mobile website, the V3 does not seem at all branded so lets hope thats the way it is!
@jayent - I think you need to get the firmware upgraded to a non-chinese version.
