Whoever they send it to, its the service centers responsibility to get u a reply. If they are not responding to service center, why do u think they will respond to you if u contact them directly?
Besides, I think the service center has better means to get behind the people they send it to than just waiting for a email reply. They can call them up to the least... after all they send stuff to them physically.
Get on to them... let them do the hard work for u for which they are paid.
All the best

You simply should not accept such incompetence. It is an illustration of 'rip-off' Britain at its worst.
As you have stated that your phone is still under warranty, they are obliged to repair it (depending on the terms of the warranty). By repairing it, they are providing you with a service. Thus, the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 will apply. Under the Act, there is a requirement for traders to provide services to a proper standard of workmanship. Furthermore, if a definite completion date or a price has not been fixed then the work must be completed within a reasonable time and for a reasonable charge. You can inform CRC that the law treats failure to meet these obligations as breach of contract and you would be entitled to seek redress, if necessary through the civil courts.
When you telephone CRC, your call will most probably be answered by a low-level employee. If they are unwilling or unable to give you a satisfactory answer, then simply ask to speak with their supervisor, and repeat again if necessary. The key is to be persistent and confident, however not arrogant. You must give them the impression that you are fully aware of you rights as a consumer, and that you will not hesitate to report them to e.g. Office of Fair Trading, Department of Trade and Industry etc.
There are numerous sources for advice on this subject ( Trading Standards :
www.tradingstandards.gov.uk ; Office of Fair Trading :
www.oft.gov.uk etc.).
Here
http://www.tradingstandards.g[....]item.cgi?file=ADV1003-1011.txt you will find a fairly useful page of advice on how to complain to the company.
Hope some of this helps, just remember to be persistent and not to accept the awful service CRC have given you.
