Unfortunately the P910i keyboard is just another one of those marketing gimmicks and of no real use IMO. However i prefer to use the excellent handwriting recognition function incorporated in this device as it has been very well implemented. This message was posted from a P910

i usually cup the phone in my hands and ithe keyboard naturally rests on my right hands litle finger. both thumbs then floating over keyboard. i find it really easy to use

i disagree with the gimmick bits. cos i use it loads for jmsn. i find hand writing recogniion fiddly at times, especially when lots of typing/writing is involved

imho the keyboard is a great addition

hmm for a marketing gimmick I find it the most useful of all 3 input methods. I'm used to the handwriting recognition, I hate the OS keyboard, for me I can type and enter things alot faster with the thumboard.

The holding methods above work great or you can hold the phone in your opposite hand if you really need it rock steady.

Depending on your finger size ( ) you can hold the flip with your middle finger hooked around it, your index finger supporting the back of the phone and using the thumbboard with just one thumb. Thoguh it does take some getting used to.

For those trying to get used to the thumbboard, don't press down with the flat of your finger or thumb, try to press it with the side of your finger/thumb, where you nail meets the skin.

From what i know you cant, the p900 pins dont match up and the p900 does not support the p910's keypad hardware.
