@shyam: I had the same problem when i was using IR, my ir use to detect my k700 but whenever i try to transfer any data it says broken link. Now I did this, i uninstalled the ir software, removed all the entries from windows registry related to IR sw (do it at ur own risk), restarted the comp, again installed the ir sw and FMA. started working fine, I use win2k prof.

Hi
Thank you very much. I tried once again. It detects that K500 series mobile is there in its range and it shows the symbol of data transfer at 11500 bps. But this is not steady. It goes and comes back.
What is the tool I should use for data transfer from Mobile to Computer? Is it File manager? I clicked the MyPhones icon which I got when I installed file manager. When I open it, it shows not connected and no files out there.
Is there any other tool than file manager and IRDA 210L dirver for windows 2000 I ahve to install?
I lost the CD which I got when I bought the Mobile.
So please help
Thanks in Advance

i have a k500i, and all i can seem to do with the standard windows file transfer through wireless link is start sending stuff, afterwhich it hangs and thus prevents the file from being sent. i can send images from the phone to the pc, and ive tried using fma but it doesnt seem to work properly. when i use K700 Dateimanager i get some obex error. the se file transfer prog doesnt work. is there any other way to access the files?

@emmanuel, then you're stuck with IR or cable. IR is better among the two.
@shyam335, any update? why don't you consider using Bluetooth?
