U hv not seen V800?? We u've been man??
Anyways.. design wise.. both hv their uniq design and identities..
imagine V800 without the plastic covers and replace it wth the same silver cover that S700 hv.. surely it looks as gd as S700....
Hardware & software V800 has more to offer... other than that both are the same... only that S700 has a bigger screen by 0.1inch and a better camera quality i guess... overall V800 is a better choice...

No way. The V800 isn't a good phone at all - with all the vodafone branding on and in it. Look at the bugs, the vodafone software has. The standby-time of the poor battery. No thanks.
If you want a 3G mobile, take the Z1010. It has almost the same buttons and it has the same high design quality like the S700. If you want a GSM/GPRS mobile with very high resolution and great camera but with slow hardware, take the S700 - but please forget the V800 till it's vodafone-free and unlocked.
Greetings, Alex

If im going to buy an expensive 1.3mp cameraphone i want good quality pictures.
Until i saw the ones people on Esato and other sites posted i would have said ' go for the V800', but now i know the S700 takes far superior pictures IMO its the better phone to go for.
If you want 3G, theres always cheap phones from
3 such as the Motorola A1000 which can offer more than the V800.
I think id rather have a S700 & a A1000 than just a V800 alone.

Well, you can see ONE in some of our co-member's AVATARS (V800)

The design of the S700 is the very first of it's KIND for

! The swivel thing is a very FIRST, unlike that of the V800's - clamshell type, which can be seen with

's Z600 design back then . . .

i think s700 is very tempting with its CCD sensor and all. but the drawback with it is that it does not have a smooth video playback. if it can support full screen playback it would have been more worth it. But i think that with both not being smartphones, go for IMAGING. S7 for me.
