my friend has a sandisck 256 mb..... & he put that in he's S700i ....
& it worked very slowly /// & some times the phone didn't recognized
the mem stick ......
so you better use a 128 mb ... still it enough ....

Fine. I heard that there will a 100 gazillion-blablillion-googlplex-illion terrabyte MS Duo Super Pro Plus on the market next week and it will sell for $1 for everyone that turns in their old 32 meg MS Duo.

I am a great fan of integration, that is single devices, which can do many things. However, I also recognise that whilst a device such as the K700 can play mp3s and can play videos, it is not a dedicated to doing either. The P900 can be used to find one's route whilst driving, but this isn't a dedicated feature. The point is that whilst devices may have extra features, which I appreciate, they are not dedicated media players, navigation systems, etc. I recognise this and treat it for what it is, a nice extra that allows me to carry one less device unless I need the extra functionality that a dedicated device would offer.
I do not feel cheated that the K700 comes with no expandable memory because I bought it to use as a phone with some extra features. Whilst it would be nice if it could perform those extra features as well as a dedicated device, it can't. If one knows the K700's capabilities when buying it, then one has no cause for complaint afterwards.

Well I mean, really! I simply do not understand why someone would buy a K700, knowing that it has 41 MB of memory and no expansion slot and then complain about it. I also don't understand why someone who hasn't bought a K700 would complain about it either. If the K700 came with a 1GB memory stick there would no doubt be someone who would say that it wasn't enough and that an iPod could hold store music. Mobile phones will not be able to compete with dedicated music\video players for a while yet, so there is little point in moaning about it.

Right on the money. When I bought the k700, I read all I could find so that I would not have to come here and ask redundant question that have been asked and answered about a claklillion times over and over. I also make use of the search feature or I PM people who I know have the answers. I try, and try and try to keep Esato as the place to go for mobile phone info, rather than a rant and complain forum as it is more and more becoming.
I now have an s700. Did I know the memory requirements when I bought it? Yes. Do I complain about it? Why not? Because I knew what I was getting before I put my money down. Also, if the phones cost too much, then don't buy them. Please stop whining about the price.

I agree completely, but I would like to add that one doesn't even need to do detailed research on a mobile phone. Just have alook at the features when in the shop and decide whether or not it meets one's requirements.
