In my T610 I can only set display lights to "turned on" or "auto" mode wich don`t allows you navigate the menus with lights off. Is this a trouble with my software version (R1L013)?

After ten years experiences and consulting battery proffs the best way to use accus is as often as possible from the very full to the very empty! Doing so my 3 years old batteries are in 90% condition!

You can turn of the light on your t610. But first you need float's mobile agent.

Yes, I use it via bluetooth. Find option 'edit profile' and there you can choose light mode for current profile- on/auto/off.

@ boba: no, you don't need to mess with fw. I have r4, my friend r3 and it works on both. 'edit profile' option is somewhere in toolbar, either as icon or under 'tools'. When you choose it you'll get the same options as if you did it on phone, just 'off' is included also. The problem is that I'm not near my computer, and can't rednences exactly how it's done, but I'll check it out in 2-3 days and post it in details.
