I agree with all of that. I think I will just get it done anyway and if it packs in I'll take gazobee's advice, after all accidents do happen!
It's a tricky one though, do you put up with Orange being technically shite but having good customer service or vice versa? I have to say though that most of the people I have spoken to at Orange about technical issues don't really have a clue. I guess this is the same with most helpdesks and it's just down to luck of the draw as to who you get to speak to!
Anyway, cheers for all the advice.

I work for orange and i can guarantee that the MMS service will be available at the start of August. It is a bummer about us not supporting MMS from the outset but it's a question of software,cost and, mainly , internal politics.(How much to charge etc.)
What i do is use the Ericsson WAP Settings available from www.sony-ericsson.com. This gives a bigger gateway and alllows you to download those fabulous colour gifs.
