Phanny, you can help yourself if only you did a bit more reading. Look at all features of both phones and weigh the pros and cons. It also is dependent on what you want and can afford. I'll respond again room with objective comparison.

Have a play with the 6260 and see if you like it or not....it's your decision. I'm not a big fan of Nokia at the moment but I do like the 6260 design, nice to have something a bit different.

Nokia 6600 is a good choice for symbian apps but the audio is truely dreadful!! The phone supports WAV and MIDI but will often refuse to play these as tones due to flakey software.......stock tones sound pants as well and way too soft...this is reason i got rid of the phone.
