The debranding worked fine by the way, my S700i has been cleansed of the Vodafone mess. Now running R3F008 firmware and have MP3 ringtones, none of the Vodafone Live rubbish and all the options that Sony Ericsson had designed it to have.
Next on the list on the list is my partners Orange branded K700i which will get a much needed firmware update as part of the process.
