Oh yea! I forgot about the IMEI, that is away of differenciating the T68i and m, however, as stated above that would just be spiteful of S. Ericsson and I doubt that would happen.
Also, when people finally learn how to flash T68m's without being connected to EMMA then people could always change there IMEI if the really wanted the update.
It would be encouraging T68m owners into illegal activity if they dissalowed T68ms and differenciated between the i and the m on the basis od IMEI numbers.

What the hell you on about, gawd this is a load of shit the T68ie is different language shit dumb arse. I have a T68ie and T68 so don't tell me that shit. And by the way if you are not sure about something don't say it then. And in regards to the T68j or whatever they are going to call it, T68m or T68i users would be able to upgrade it cause of certian laws and contacts ensures users who bought the M or I can upgrade within the T68 series....

My opinion regarding the differences between t68m and t68i is that the LCD screens are different. My t68m Gold compared with my friend's t68i shows that the viewing angle and the brightness is better in the t68i.
A guy at the :se service-center in Helsinki confirmedto me a few months ago that the t68i uses a different LCD screen than the t68m...

I'm luckly because my t68 broke and vodafone gave me a brand new t68i and I must say the screen is better and it might be me but I think the dust doesnt get under the screen soo easy on the t68i which is cool

no difference in screen... just better manufacturing. The original batch of T68s were still in their infancy when it came to parts, and manufacturing... the T68i under the new SE plants are simply just built better.
Chips, screens, speakers, circuitry is all the same... just built a bit better and quality is more consistent now.
