> S700i sms bug

Im on O2 PAYG Online, and I bought an S700 Sim Free handset for the last two months and I have not had a problem with text messeges to my phone. On one (completely random) occasion it didtake 5 days, but apart from that one all my texts have taken around 1 or 2 minutes to arrive after being sent (which you can view selecting details). So it isnt O2's compatability unless it O2 firmware on S700's is the problem.

it is an 02 problem, i had an o2 branded k700i worked no problem at all, but i lost it and bought a simfree one to replace it, but now have the sms problem.quick calls to o2 and se confirmed a compatibility problem and they dont know when it will be overcome, if at all. o2 have now withdrawn the phones from sale, but that doesnt help those of us that are stuck with them ,particularly after paying £200 for it last week!!!
incidentally, o2 denied withdrawing it and said it was simply out of stock, but changed their story when i said i had read about it on the watchdog website (bbc.co.uk)
