Having had severe trouble explaining to my own mum what the icons on the desktop of my phone were, i think a 'scroll down' text menu might be better....

Thanks, M. My mum has no interest in technology. I need something *really* simple. This message was posted from a T68i

I've got my Mum and Dad both a K500 each this year. They both currently use Nokia 3410's. Took me ages to explain how to use the Nokias to them so I'm dreading it when they start to use these. They both want something that had a camera and colour screen on and my mum wanted to have mp3's as ringtones even though she does'nt have a clue what they are. She heard my P900 and S700 and had decided she wants one. Shame I've now moved to a Moto V3 and Samsung D500.

I'll take a look at the A60; it sounds promising. This message was posted from a T68i

@abs: Sounds like your mom and mine dropped from the same planet. Mine currently uses a Nokia 3310. Hardly does ANYTHING else with it besides calls. My recommendations:
- 3310
- 1100
- 2100

3310 is big, it was my previous phone. Get a 1100, hassle free operation, slim and it lasts almost a week without recharging if you use it conservatively.

or get 3100 for color display. Looks good and has everything in a neat layout.
