How come 1900? It is a dual band phone. More over, i heard that debranding will make it loose the 1800 bandwidth.

i am not sure what you mean. if you write GDFS to Z1010 you should have
GSM 900
GSM 1800
GSM 1900
available to you. I have not tried it myself, but this is what i read.

just download setool2 from
http://unlocker.ru/guicom.rar or
http://unlocker.ru/guiufs.rar
then take a credit (1 is enough)
put attached file into "misc. files" folder, check "resurrect" button,
and finally press "unlock/repair"
that results 900/1800/1900 mhz bandlock
enjoy."
However, i am not totally sure about the GSM 1900. I dont think this would function properly. I believe the 1900 is just an aesthetic thing.

To be honest i am not sure mate, the only way is to try and see i guess. Are there no US networks that use 900 or 1800 in the US?

@gbrooks, you forgot america uses 850 and not 900. So i doubt if even a single network exist there that works on 900. I think the tmobile there is using 1800. So the phone can work, correct?

Yes if you say T-mobile US uses 1800 band then the phone will work.
