the only advantages of the T68 over the R520 or T39 are its slightly quicker SMS input for later firmwares, color screen and MMS capability if it is a T68i/m(i).

however, R520 and T39 have 2 to 3x the battery life and stronger RF reception due to external antenna.

only R520 has speakerphone and motion sensor, and T39 does not have an Options key. also, some T39's have a glitch where they sometimes drop the network signal completely and you have to shut the phone off for a few minutes to get it back. (mine does anyway.)

i have all three models and if i were to rank them in order of preference, they would be:

1. R520m
2. T68m (with original Ericsson firmware! not T68mi )
3. T39m (mine is actually an mc which doesn't have T9. ah well, can't have it all...)

and all 3 can bluejack pretty well...

mc was for the chinese market. if you remove the battery, the model designation should say so on the stickers on the frame.

if stickers are not original, check the language settings. if it has chinese SMS input, then it is an mc.

mc has chinese input but in return, it doesn't have T9. unfortunately,i couldn't get my hands on a decent 'm' at the time.

whiz be serious !

@govi - make sure it has a display.... you know, that square thing on the phone which shows numbers and stuff... and it should also have 12 buttons labelled 1 to 9 and a *, 0 and # button . Make sure it also has the internals namely the battery, and circuit board
