Yep the flashlite player works really well on the v800. The thing with it is that the swf files really need to be made for flashlite - most web stuff may run if its version 4 but it wont be optimal content.

You can get some animations and stuff that is designed specifically for flashlite at http://www.macromedia.com/cfu[....]sh%20Lite%20Exchange&loc=en_us

However a lot of those run at fullscreen - which is only supported in the standalone flashlite player - not the browser version that the v800 has.

It would be a real shame if the z800i doesnt have the flashlite player.

s700 nope. In fact the only reason the v800 has it is because it was required by Voda for the japanese market. Which is maybe why its not present in the z800i, if the player was licensed by vodafone and not SE.

I've got the same problem with the Z800 firmware. What a bummer this is. I can only hope that later releases of the firmware will have Flash

if anyone wants to test it just go here in your browser:

http://www.flashcell.com/imode/test.swf

if you see content then at least your browser has flashlite.

There were 2 different deployments of flashlite - one for the v800 and one for the v802SE. The v802SE supports browser, wallpaper and screensaver whereas the v800 only supports the browser.

I hope SE do include it, not least because we are creating some really cool screensavers and wallpapers

Oh No.. i didn't realize about Z800 firmware...

But i think that's not very important for some users.

In Asian all we need is Chinese Pack... and Z800 has that.
