Well... as expected
I have to try again after the 5th january, as they didn't have any K700i's on stock - not even in Bucharest (our capital).
I also noticed that the lady who sold me the cellphone might have knew about this issue - she didn't seem to be surprised at all, nor did she wanted to many explanations - he rang the services right away asking for a new K700i. I have a strange belief that the cellphone has been sold before and probably returned due to the errors i've reported.
Also, the phone hangs in weird fashion as time goes on. Receiving a call a few hours ago, i had to reject and call the dialler myself. As a result of rejecting the call, the vibrating remained off, although the desktop was displayed...
- went into settings, disabled vibrations - cellphone still vibrating
- called *XXX (operator PR) - cellphone still vibrating although i was talking to it
- tunred off the cell - still vibrating.
- removed the battery - finally!
Should I email SonyEricsson global support? I feel like i can't take it any longer. It really drvies me insane, ya' know?
Thanks lads for your feedback. Once again, it's been much appreciated.

Update:
First of all, Happy New Year to everyone out there.
Just thought to post my feedbacks on this story again:
*
I'm still waiting for a new piece of K700i. I'm getting delayed everyday, and now I'm certain that the seller knew about the issues this phone had and that the phone has been sold before (but returned).
*
SonyEricsson online support disappointed me big time. The PR guy took a copy/paste of the same 'not-within-the-subject' answer three times in the same conversation, although i refrained each time my questions.
Highly annoyed and easily comparable with the quality of the phone i bought
*
My 'not-so-new' phone continues to amaze me: shuts down at random times, menu not accssible at random time, vibrating alert not stoping even after the call ends (not even after the phone is switched off).
I need to be called three-four times in a row in order to establish a conversation, as 75% of the time -after answering- i'm unable to speak/hear anything.
And although this is a SonyEricsson forum and although i'm an Ericsson (only -when it comes to cellphones-) fan, and although i had plenty of cellphones from them - from T29 to K700i (now) via R600, i'm highly disappointed.
And highly doesn't express my exact feelings. Thumbs down.

I can't believe it
I got the phone exchanged under warranty two days ago. WOW. Enjoyed it's functions, uploaded thingies to it through my DCU 11 cable (yay, it worked) and now i see that it won't charge anymore.
After one charge it doesn't do anything! The charger gets very hot, smells pretty weird (the battry too), but that's it.
FMA also doesn't seem to be reporting any temperature anymore, nor does it recognize an AC adapter.
I had enough!!

Is the R600 charger compatible with this? I mean...the input is the same, but...
I don't want to spend any more penny on this phone. Bear with me - anyone who'll receive the 'quality' i got for the buckload i paid will probably stop spending on a total failure. At least that's how i name it, now, when i still have a non-functional but brand new cellphone.
[edit]
Also, FMA doesn't display any more details on battery temperature / phone temperature, which makes me think it's a battery related issue. I trully hope it isn't, though.

all /// chargers will work.
fma has a software issue. pls dont rely on the temp shown by fma. there is a bug in the software that causes it to report very high temp. 2000- 3000C. this has been dicussed in the fma forum. will you pls use the /// charger and see how it goes?
