Are you getting new handsets? Or are these the standard Orange "reconditioned" handsets? Orange has had a policy of issuing "reconditioned" handsets in response to warranty claims or faults, since they started up.

I have a theory about this, based on the number of esato users complaining about receiving serial duds from orange... we are all getting each others handsets.

Hi there everybody, ive just got a P910i two days ago on orange, and i have had problems,I cannot get it to connect to my PC,I have tried everything, even disconnecting the internet, disabling Norton, uninstalling the sony ericsson PC SUITE,then installing it again under the above conditions, still no joy at all!!!I have never had any problems like this at all, orange wont help at all as its not a connectivity issue with their network.I have never had problems connecting anything before with my PC,apart from little bugs which ive easily sorted. At this moment in time i wished I had waited for the Treo650.Ive just upgraded from a Treo 600.......

have you tried double clicking on the double arrows at the bottom right hand side of the toolbar and selecting connect with usb. i also downloaded microsoft activesync that helps when you set it up.

Now on Number 3 and its still shite!! Now I cant access the data on my memory card (which is working normally as my old P900 has no problem with it). Am seriously considering just dumping this upgrade to a p910 and waiting for the next best thing to come along. *not happy at all with Orange branded phones*

have a look here at someones response.
faster etc....

I too will be on my third P910i from Orange, hopefully tomorrow. First one wldnt let me access certain menus and kept "jumping" to different applications, now this new one has a problem with the screen "freezing". Although I have been able to synch with the PC with this one, unlike the first!! I can see I will be in for an argument with Orange tomorrow as although CPW have ordered it in the salesman said they may not do a straight swap as it is after the first 28 days. Although as far as I am concerned its not after the 28 days for my second phone. Anyone else had this with Orange?? I do have to say in Oranges defence they have always been good when things have gone wrong in the past.
Maybe there is a problem with Orange p910is?

notably their softwarenothing can be wrong with the phones.

Mine is not branded but i was surprised to find hardly any bugs. Twice i had to restart it cuz it had run out of memory and the kypad on the screen was gone.Other than that, no prob at all! Nice surprise.I guess it's Orange on this 1 This message was posted from a WAP device
